Just WOW, what a find !!!!This campsite is just perfection.Massive pitches with water, and electric, super friendly staff, a beautiful pool complex. The bar and restaurant are the best I have ever seen on any campsite and we have been touring extensively in France for over 20 years. The food was sublime. The views are incredible. It is the best campsite we have ever visited. We cannot wait to return.
As of 2024 Bruno and his wife run the restaurant and it’s great! Lovely atmosphere to enjoy a cocktail, icecream or just the amazing (!) food they serve there - always with a smile :). They instantly made us feel welcome and at home, like the super friendly staff of the campsite itself. Top that off with good showers, a nice view, lovely swimming pool and pitches in lots of green… overall, we just had a perfect time at La Faurie!
Perfect. Super hospitable crew running a beautiful, well kept campsite. Special shout out to Bruno and his wife who now run the restaurant (per 2024) with great care and flair; we enjoyed two delicious meals there.
I have been coming here for almost ten years until the owners sold this year. The USP was the restaurant and the evening get together which have both been put on a back burner until the new owners calculate budgets etc. It’s a shame because the reason we went there has now stopped and it’s become an ordinary but still beautiful place. The party nights were what made the place so enjoyable. That’s not to say it won’t return once the new owners settle in but for now I feel it’s lost a bit of its appeal.
The view is amazing, the infrastructure too. Very friendly staff. Just some sites have lots of weedseeds that stick in the fur of dogs. Also, nothing to find in walking distance but if you're by car you will not find a nicer campground.
