FLOWER CAMPINGS LES ONDINES

Stayed 5 nights on returning from Spain. Visited this area previously in my twenties and wanted to see how things had changed. The camp site is of good quality easy access to supermarkets and attractions. Observation on campsite our pitch was opposite the Motorhome service point users used the fresh drinking water outlet to clean the toilet cassettes. I have made comments on the sites review to remove the hose pipe and provide an additional freshwater tap away from the service point so people can feel comfortable they won’t end up with intestinal diseases.

Ideal campsite for our 5 day stopover. 10 Minute drive from A20. A lovely friendly site with a good bar/restaurant and swimming pool.As caravanner, however, the only poor comment I will make is that the arrangements for fresh water are very poor. The only waterpoint is as part of the Chemical Toilet point. Motor homers would dump their waste and WC and wash the WC container with the hose proved which was then used to fill FRESH water!!!!!!!!

Lovely campsite with really fantastic staff! Really great location, close to town, and with a very lively bar on site.We camped close to the chickens, which was a very cool addition! They were very friendly.

Lovely campsite next to the river, friendly helpful staff and good facilities, the swimming pool is very good 😊

The location of this campsite by the Dordogne river and close to the town is great.There is a nice pool and children's play area and the restaurant serves good food and drinks and is very well priced. The pitches are spacious and there is a choice of sun or shade. The sanitary blocks are clean but only lukewarm water to the dish washing sinks. The temperature of water to showers was OK.My negatives are the pitches have very long grass and some look very neglected.There are a couple of fresh water points apparently but we couldn't find them and we obtained our fresh water from the sinks in the sanitary block.There are no dedicated sinks for washing your hands only sinks for doing dishes but my biggest problem is the disposal of waste water and emptying chemical toilet. There is an aire type disposal point and the WC drain is not clearly indicated so consequently toilet waste is being thrown down the grey waste drain and toilet paper remains on the drain grille. The fresh water tap is very close to the drain and I would not use it. Apparently there is a hose pipe for fresh water by the workman's shed but it was not clearly sign posted and covered by a tarpaulin when we were visiting . These problems were highlighted 11 months ago and also in 2018 but have not been rectified. I think it would be quite easy to install some fresh water points on the outside of the sanitary blocks and would greatly improve the hygiene.OK of a short stop over but I would not return
