Short version: Would recommend 10/10Long story: We are a Couple with a one-year old had a full holiday here. Started every day with fresh croissant 🥐. Did some hiking 🥾 saw the great town of Rockamadour. We played some badminton 🏸. Drank a few cocktails and met some nice people. The owners Lucile and Richard had everything and more to make sure the stay was comfortable. And did so with a big smile even though they are very busy bees 🐝Pro tip: most trips (except for groceries) are 30 to 45 minutes away. Plan your trips wisely.

We have been coming to this camp site for sixyears now, after we bought our caravan from a relative. We like it so much, we have never taken our caravan anywhere else! The location is superb, in a rural location but not far from many interesting villages and towns and in what I like to call 'real France', not spoiled by fish and chip shops and the like. It sits about ten minutes' drive from the charming little village of Le Vigan en Quercy, offering a small Spar shop, a couple of restaurants, a pharmacy and a nice bar. Just two miles West of that you can find the small town of Gourdon, offering supermarkets, clothes shops, restaurants, banks, fuel at a good price and anything else you might need. Not too much further away you can find Sarlat le Caneda, Cahors, which sits on the beautiful river Lot, Souillac, which sits on the equally beautiful river Dordogne, and Rocamadour, possibly the second most visited site in France and sat in stunning scenery. On the camp site pitch size is generous and the rates are very competitive compared with other sites. The shower / toilet blocks are spotlessly clean and even when the site is fully occupied you can still use the toilet or have a shower without waiting. You can rent a fully furnished chalet or one of the site's tents, which are very well equipped with beds, seating, a fridge, lighting and cooking facilities. Alternatively, bring your own tent or caravan/motorhome. Electric hook up is 240V and easy, and you are never far away from a water standpipe.Booking is easy and the arrival process is similarly trouble - free, the staff speak perfect English, French and Dutch and offer everything you could possibly need. The main swimming pool is perfect for anyone's needs, even having gentle steps at one end for those not quite able to leap into the pool or climb down an access ladder, and there is another, shallow pool for the very young to use safely. The pools are available for use 12 hours daily, so you can cool off in the heat of the day or take a quiet swim in the evening.Beside the pool is an area for small children to play safely, with apparatus and a table tennis table. Right beside that area is the terrace, just outside the office and restaurant, so parents can have a cool drink whilst keeping a careful eye on their boisterous offspring. A few feet away is an area for playing boules / petang, but I still do not know what the difference is between the two.For those who have to stay connected, internet access is available via wifi at only a Euro for 24 hours, although the rural location means that you cannot reasonably expect the speeds available in British cities with fibre broadband, but 2MBPS is quite normal.I would recommend this camp site to anyone looking for a good value holiday for a family with young children - mine are now teenagers and they still love it.

Perfect place to visit the region. The children enjoyed the swimming pool and we enjoyed the atmosphere of old-fashioned campsites with pitches. The bedding is however of average quality, unfortunately if I sleep in a chalet it is for the comfort of decent bedding. It’s a shame that the entertainment team was already no longer present even though we were there in the last week of August (and we were only informed of this upon our arrival).Lots of documentation to read to organize your stay (I would have personally preferred information in person, such as the reminder to make an appointment for departure)
