Lovely campsite with a beautiful riverside location.On-site restaurant serves well priced good pizzas, steak frites, salads and burgers, which is pretty much what is served in all local restaurants (it’s not a great area for cuisine)Two of us stayed in a basic static caravan which served our needs as we spent most time sitting on its veranda. Double bed is on the small side. Good size fridge freezer but no oven.45min walk into Florac mainly along one of the GR routes that follow the riverThe cheap plastic patio furniture was adisappointment, unlike that provided for the Tepees. You have to clean the caravans or their is a €40 charge which seems a bit strange. I’ve never cleaned a hotel room.Staff are very friendly and helpfulWould stay here again.
What a fantastic campsite! We spent three weeks travelling around France and Spain and this was one of our favourite stops. We were warmly welcomed and given a choice of pitches. We chose a tranquil spot overlooking the gorgeous river which was perfect for swimming and beaver watching. All the staff were amazing... so friendly and helpful. The food in the small restaurant was very good.... we ended up eating there three nights out of four! We will definitely be back!
Very charming place, super nice people. Its located between the Chemin Stevenson and the river Tarn, which is very small here but very refreshing after a long days hike.We will definitely come back to explore the Cevennes once more.
Beautiful campsite, lovely friendly staff who are always happy to help with reservations and suggestions. I couldn't speak more highly of the place. If you like quiet campsites in tranquil surroundings this will be right up your street. There is a safe slow moving section of the river on the site with small sand beach and a rustic restaurant serving tasty food. Always best to book in advance for the restaurant and campsite as they can both book up in high season.
Very friendly staff, but sadly no wifi on the Camping ground. Only at the reception. The toilets are ok, but you've got to bring your own toilet paper. Showers are cleaned on a ok schedule. Very spacious and clean RV pitchs. Dogs are allowed and also, eventhough a sign says different, free roaming. Nice walking/hiking possibilities around the camp. Sadly only two Restaurant in the walking distance of 10-15 minutes or so.
