FLOWER CAMPING LE PONT DU TARN

Positives: We had a riverside pitch was lovely, spacious and with plenty of shade from the trees and a pergola. Being on the opposite side of the campsite to the road meant any noise was minimal and we were away from the main hub of the campsite that had evening entertainment. The river was fantastic for wild swimming until storms hit - not much can be done about this! The staff were very helpful when we emailed in advance to ask for some medical help/adviceDownside: The sanitary facilities, at times, were disgusting, and smelly, and I am not talking about mud from the poor weather. To remove the toilet paper due to "thieves" is short-sighted and only impacts those who stay after and have done nothing wrong. Intermittent soap supply which we were told was due to supply issues... there is a shop round the corner for a temporary supply. It won't fit the dispensers but helps with hygiene and customers feel cared about. Add to this the drainage issues, which to be fair there was work on one drain while we were there, but for the full week, there was foul water in the drain beneath the drinking tap nearest our pitch.The campsite has potential and a few simple, inexpensive changes could make a difference.

Really nice campsite with bread/croissant order in the morning. Restaurant is lovely. Fantastic position right in the heart of amazing place. Lots of wild swimming to be had. The river access at the top of the site is gorgeous for a swim with amazing views. We’ve had a great week and will definitely return.

Brilliant site, staff friendly on arrival and never stop cleaning facilities, toilets and showers clean, nice bar area with entertainment, pitches clean and a good size, good location near FLORAC and walking distance to supermarket with ever so cheap fuel (cheapest we’ve seen) we would definitely return to this super site

One of the warmest and loveliest welcome I've ever received at a campsite. The atmosphere at this site just feels so relaxing - the bar is a wonderful place to sit in the evening sun, the swimming pool is great and everyone on the site seemed relaxed and friendly.The access is good for a car and caravan and the pitches are all level and a good size. There are permanent wooden pergolas dotted around the site for any camper to use.The sanitaires are clean. The shower is operated with a push button but the water pressure is good and there's a good run on. Only down point is that you can't control the temperature, although the water was the perfect temperature for me!A lovely site which we will very happily return to if we're in the area again.

Great campsite just a 15 minute walk into Florac. Excellent facilities and helpful staff, would definitely recommend.
