CAMPING HUTTOPIA GORGES DU TARN

This was our first time booking with Huttopia and we're very pleased with the whole experience. The location of this campsite is truly fantastic! We specifically booked a river side pitch, which are by far, much better than the ones in the middle of the site. The views of the river are well worth it, throughout the day and evening.The facilities were cleaned regularly and all areas of the site were well presented. The staff were all very welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times.There were plenty of activities available on site and also lots of areas to explore within the whole Gorges du Tarn area. We made use of the paddle boards for hire on multiple occasions and also took a canoe trip with Canoe 2000 (highly recommended). Overall, we had a really fantastic time and will definitely now look to explore other Huttopia sites.Points to consider...By chance, we were allocated pitch 1, which was at the far end of the site... a bit of a trek to the facilities but worth it to be tucked away from the more crowded areas. In my opinion, many of the pitches seemed quite close together (but this is a personal preference though, I like to be out of the way!)There are also a lot of insects - this is not a complaint as it's to be expected in the rural areas by a river. However, it is worth bringing repellents for the body as well as around the tent.

Beautiful campsite located directly next to Gorge du tarn river. If you like river swimming in clean non polluted water ways then this is the place. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the tents with own shower and toilet and cooking facilities. Everything you need and campsite and local supermarket provide the necessary foods to keep you going.

Beautiful place, in the middle of nature. Everything clean. Nice combination of both pool and River. Nice River beaches also within a 15 min drive. Definitely recommend

Nice camping near the river! Pitches are generally big although I spotted a few smaller ones... the riverside spots looked awesome but we didn't have one. Bathrooms are clean enough, just make sure to bring slippers when showering which you should do anyway when using public facilities... Swimming pool is basic but clean. Staff was nice and helpful.The river is a real joy for any age and easily accessible from the camping, although don't expect a beach...

What a gorgeous quiet little campsite. Great location by the river Tarn. If you get a chance to get a riverside pitch, go for it. It's worth it. Super friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern toilet blocks. You can even access a freezer for you ice blocks. Washing machines work really well and are quite cheep compared to other campsites (4€). The only downside is the fact the shop is tiny and pricey. The Food truck isn't cheap either but it's all very good quality. It is in the middle of nowhere so do a big shop before you get there.
