CAMPING LES OLIVIERS
In a shaded site by bicentennial olive trees, this family campsite is ideally located at the exit of Boulou at the foot of the Albères range. The thermal spa and casino of Boulou are nearby, 10 minutes from the beaches of the Vermilion Coast.
It offers facilities accessible to people with reduced mobility for your tent or caravan / motorhome, as well as 3 ranges of mobile homes(standard, comfort, and residential) for rent by the week or from 2 nights in the off-season (max. 8 people).
Many services are available. Bar-Restaurant with the possibility of takeaway meals, bread and pastries in July and August. Free wifi zone, fridge rental for pitches, gas barbecue rental, bike rental, washing machine and iron, playground for children, as well as entertainment 2 nights a week in season, such as aquagym classes, etc.
Around there are various outdoor activities(water sports, hiking, and cycling) as well as many tourist sites to visit (Collioure, Perpignan, Gorges de la Fou, animal parks, etc.). Moreover, close to the Spanish border you can go to Perthus to make some good deals, or even visit Catalonia, such as Cadaqués, the Dalí museum of Figueres, and even Barcelona.
Note that this campsite offers special rates for medium or long stays, but also 20% discount for spa stays outside July-August or the loan of a courtesy vehicle.

A very big thank you to the staff at Oliviers for finding me a place for my little tent last minute despite being full after I'd made an error with my planning on my bicycle tour from UK to Spain. Very good and comprehensive facilities including a nice swimming pool. Idyllic location amongst the olive trees. It could end up being my favourite stop of the whole tour. Highly recommended.

Good position for stop over site. Staff helpful, I needed a ladder for a couple of days, no problem. But it is a typical French site. Out of season don't expect all facilities open. Very quiet when we were there in October even though quite busy.

Its one of those. Edit: 3 Stars because it deserves 3 stars i do not know why i initially selected 2 this might have been in error. The camping is located in a beautiful yet central area and that would be its main attraction however the prices are above average the pitches are very small and busy and by far most of the "camping" seems to be filled with stationary caravans and chalets. When the price of having a pitch to sleep (no more no less) with a few mates in our tents rivals the price of a bed and breakfast or motel something is wrong in my opinion.The cost added for the business for having us as guests are close to nil yet the prices do not reflect this for us as a consumer. (diminishing returns will come to mind at some stage i am sure)"It is one of those" refers to it being a camping that is not particular tent or tracking friendly usually by means of pricing and policies including having a focus on chalets and long stays.I hope this helps
