CAMPING LE CANIGOU

Hard to judge a camping like this during pre-season - since there were only two other guests when we arrived. I can imagine this being a fantastic camping during summer, teeming with active outdoorsy families learning rock climbing, rafting and such. The owners are nice people and the bakery that supplies their products for the bread service, is absolutely outstanding, even for French standards. Be sure to order some at the reception.

If your family consists of teenagers (age 13-18), you like activities and a lot of social interaction (for the teenagers), this is the number one campsite for your family.We are staying at this campsite at the moment and this is just the perfect campsite for us and our 13 year old son.The “youth” comes together during the day at the central area at the front of the campsite, where they have WiFi (limited speed), a pooltable, ping pong, pétanque.The small lake is perfect, we absolutely don’t miss a pool.The activities are organized by an amazing team present at the campsite and really help the kids connect easier and faster.Activities organized from the campsite: via ferrata, climbing, abseil, rafting, mountainbike and more.So for active parents and their kids, this is a hidden pearl in the south of France.

Best campsite weve been to! Nice staff and a great spot to camp. River is lovely an flows right through. Nice little towns nearby and dogs walks! Well be going back for sure

Stayed here for 2 nights in our motorhome. 16.50 euro per night, lovely clean shower block and washing machine. Friendly staff. Right next to the river which our dog 🐕 loved. Lots of young adults arrived for the adventure side of the camp, but we were not disturbed as the site is so large. Thanx Henry and team, we'll be back this way I hope.

The place is lovely and also the stuff!We had a blast on the thematic party on Friday night, also canyoning with the guys from Canigou Outdoor.The place is 1000% recommended for families, couples or groups of friends!
