Best campsite in the area.Lovely family owned & managed well with loveA fantastic spot to base a holiday from.Services very clean, perfect swim pool, lovely gaufres from the little Bistro. My favourite bit is waving to le Petite Train Jaune whilst in the pool!A little slice of Paradise!💖
I stayed at Camping du Mas de Lastourg for a few days last summer while travelling Europe by train and I'm glad I chose that campsite. The owner was very kind and picked me up from the train station in Villefranche - he even borrowed me a blanket during my stay because I unfortunately only brought a light sleeping bag.The location is quite remote - perfect for enjoying nature but a little inconvenient for the ones without a car. Everyone has more than enough space and the facilities are fine, too. I loved this campsite (it even had a swimming pool!) and I would love to stay there again sometime.
I have come to the Mas de Lastourg campsite several times, and I feel good there. It is a family campsite, simple, quiet, made for relaxing. There is the little yellow train which passes regularly near the campsite, but from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. There is also the small river which flows quietly near the campsite. This is all part of the charm of camping. We must also talk about the owners who are very kind and attentive to campers.
We loved the top campsite with no fuss, everything you need for a pleasant stay at night lulled by the river, great walks to do. Just missing a shuttle to Villefranche for safety reasons because the Nationale has no shoulders for 800 meters otherwise great campsite well done
I love this campsite. Its owners, and the entire family in general, are excellent people, we always feel welcome. We have done several walks in the area such as going to the church and the cave that is located on the route in front of the campsite, going to Villefranche de Conflent, to Fort Liberia, to Gorges de la Carança using the yellow train, and one day we went by car to Lac des Bouillouses. Everything incredible. The pool has a very pleasant temperature for those of us who usually feel cold. It also has a descent to the river, very good for when you are tired to go for a walk but still want to feel in nature. Many hugs and good wishes!!!
