CAMPING LA TISARNE

This a gem of a campsite is in the middle of an area often overlooked by campers passing through. The Tarn et Garonne has so many beautiful places to see - Gorges d’Aveyron, Castelsarrasin, Moissac, Cassaude, Montauban for starters. Le Tisarne is cozy, with very clean sanitary areas, pool, pétanque, table tennis and mini golf. Pitches are varied in size and shelter, allowing a choice of what’s best for you. Although facilities cater for children, it suits a more genteel stay. It is very quiet and peaceful. Our pitch even had a full sized fig tree!Sonia, the owner, always so helpful and willing with advice, also speaks English.Free WiFi, cared for pitches, good sanitary areas, washing machine & tumble dryer, and easy access to A20. We planned to stay 3 nights and stayed 14.Takes ACSI and dogs with a good dog walking route opposite the site and easy access to the canal for bikes.Definitely would go back.

A lovely campsite, quite private pitches, great views! Utility block brand new and spotless. Nice pool, though was a bit cold when we got to it. Mini golf - you can borrow clubs and balls at reception. Friendly owners.

Used as an overnight stop. Arrived at 19:30 weary from a 330km days run up from Spain. Warm welcome, safe surroundings, clean facilities, hot water, great oasis of a site to unwind ready for the next day on the road. so top marks.

A very quiet camping place with a very nice host! There is a big swimming pool which we had to ourselves the whole time, which was very nice😁. Ideal for passing through, or for just staying close to cities like Montauban and Toulouse. Would definitely recommend!

A lovely small campsite, lots of greenery and decent sized pitches. The sanitary block isvery clean and well laid out. We really enjoyed our overnight stay and would love to come back!
