CAMPING DOMAINE DE CADENNE

We arrived around 2pm in high spirits after a long day travelling and were immediately met with hostilities. None of the additional amenities were made apparent to us, there was no pool (“too cold”) , no spa/sauna (“too warm”). There had also been complications with the booking system on the hosts part, which could have been resolved in a calm manner, but were not and we were made to feel uncomfortable.The gîte we were staying in could sleep 7 and was apparent with how it was set up. But we were told we would all be unable to stay as there was 1 additional person who had to travel with usThankfully we have friends in the area and were able to stay with them overnight one evening as we did not feel comfortable relaxing in the hosts presence.The area itself was lovely with a large open field for children to play on the slides, swings and with the sporting activities provided.However, it seemed like the children were not welcome.The bins were full so we were unable to dispose of our waste correctly.I would not recommend this place for families looking for a relaxed getaway. We have been told that the place has been left in an untidy manner.After packing all our stuff away and rounding up the kids, we made sure to leave the property tidy. The owners have passed comments on grass and crumbs in the property, the kids play area is on a large grass area and toddlers tend to leave a few crumbs, But we did sweep through before we left it certainly was not untidy.

Wouldn't recommend as the lady host was very rude and unwelcoming! Edited - Not a great reply to say I wasn't a guest at your property, when I spoke to you and your husband Manuel about upsetting my children when we first arrived, to be fair the husband Manuel (sorry if I've misspelt his name) is a really nice guy, introduced himself and welcomed us to his home but his wife is a piece of work clearly just wants to take the money then makes you feel like you are not welcome and a very awkward vibe from her as if we are invading her home!

We arrived at the gite after a long day of travelling with two toddlers and me being heavily pregnant.Before even entering the apartment, we was given a very rude welcoming . Telling us we can not stay here and we are to find somewhere else , after she read the booking wrong thinking we had booked 1 child not 2. ( I later showed her the booking where it clearly stated 2 children)The woman then accused us of not sending the incorrect amount of money ,Again later she checked and again we had sent the money .She was so rude and unapproachable.We felt so unwelcome that we spend very little time there.Not to mention none of the facilities was open.No pool.No jacuzzi.No sauna.Nothing was stated on the listing about them being closed.When we asked about this she said well its common sense they wouldn't be open. Bare in mind if was 29c this weekend.There was no effort made to open any facilities, no apology.The apartment it's self is actually under their house , this doesn't show on the description.I found bugs in my bed and the sofa bed was filthy .Just very reluctant to help at all.We asked for some extra towels she argued with us before giving us one extra towel between 7 of us.It says daily house keeping .We stayed 3 days and not ones was house keeping done.I would definitely not recommend staying in this apartment.The previous positive reviews are definitely from the previous owners as its recently been taken over.

Really nice holiday park, great clean gite with everything you need in it. frederique and emmanuel are the most perfect hostes you can wish for.

Stayed here last minute. Charming, Very accomodating and we had two great nights of sleep here with two kids :)
