Latest reviews for CAMPING LE BOIS FLOTTANT
We stayed here for several days in June 2023 as a stop on our way through France and have incredibly fond memories of our time at this campsite. The campsite is a beautiful and spacious oasis of simple and rustic serenity. The only noises you hear are the birdsong and the calming noise of the river flowing by. The surrounding area is also very beautiful. The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We barely had to use our terrible French with them because one of the owners was fluent in English. The owners have clearly put a lot of love and effort into making this campsite what it is today.I cannot recommend this campsite or this area of the country enough.
Great camping for nature lovers. In the middle of the Haute Languedoc, very peaceful and no internet. The hosts are great too. They have great riches here in the middle of nowhere
Gorgeous natural campsite in stunningly beautiful surroundings. I really wish we could have stayed for longer than just one night. Comes with a friendly dog, a beautiful ginger cat, loads of rabbits, and a very territorial goose. 🙂
Came here 2 years ago and still think about it. Funny to have found it on the maps again. Was a stop on our long road trip in september. We were the only people here. The nice man welcomed us and we spent a quiet evening next to the river. So peaceful. Warm shower. Little lost and unexpected Eden.
We found this corner of paradise by chance, we were looking for a quiet and relaxing place, we were not disappointed. It’s a great starting point for hiking. The managers are super involved, the toilets are clean. We enjoyed “sugar butter” pancakes which are made with eggs from the chickens that roam the campsite. A treat ;)We hope to return to the region, and without hesitation, we will come back.
