CAMPING DOMAINE LES CLOTS
In the Tarn, not far from the village of Mirandol, the Domaine Les Clots welcomes you amidst lush greenery in the heart of nature.
Around a typical farm of the region, you will find on a 7 ha plot large pitches from 100 to 300 m² arranged in terraces or hidden in the forest to be as close to nature as possible and experience the sensation of "wild" camping.
For more comfort, you can rent comfortable, luxuriously equipped wooden houses, with a beautiful terrace enjoying a splendid panorama and without vis-à-vis to respect everyone's privacy. But also canvas bungalows with private facilities, a quality wooden chalet, and a cottage.
For leisure, you can relax in the swimming pool, while your children will find plenty of entertainment in the play area or the forest in complete safety as vehicles remain parked at the campsite entrance. Below, you'll find a private beach on the banks of the Viaur River, clear and fish-filled, bordered by shaded paths. This 3-star campsite prioritizes tranquility, so you won't find any entertainment activities here.
Around, rivers and lakes offer water sports, kayak rentals, and many other activities to allow you to discover the Tarn and the gorges of the Aveyron. Not to mention the possibility of taking superb walks along the river or across the plateau.

Beautiful location, camping under the trees, lots of shade. Owners very friendly. Had nice chats with camping guests.
Beautiful campsite in the green, with really large tent pitches (and a conscious policy to allow a limited number of campers). Very hospitable owners. In short, highly recommended!
Beautifully situated campsite on a mountain slope, the pitches are very large and the total capacity is small, which keeps it cozy. Very quiet too.The campsite is somewhat stuck in time in various aspects. No cell phone coverage at all, not even for texting or calling, and the campsite's WiFi is also poor. So you are dependent on the hostess to find and arrange your trips (she likes to do it, but I don't like it). Showers and sinks look straight from the 90s, but everything is cleaned well so it is certainly clean. Toilets are contemporary, by the way, so don't fear a French pot.The river was a bit further walking than expected and quite a descent/climb back. Of course you can expect that on a mountainside. The swimming pool is beautifully situated among the greenery and certainly large enough for the number of guests.Rating is given based on expectations of a contemporary family with children under 10 years old, with a minimum of connectivity for adults, children's facilities on the campsite and sanitary facilities.
Magnificent campsite for those looking for authenticity and nature. The owners are extremely kind. We discovered this haven of peace during a cycling holiday and we did not regret the very steep descent that we had to climb again in the early morning. Thank you for this beautiful stopover with swimming pool and barn bar at the top 👍😀
Nice campsite with friends, personally I wouldn't have gone there if I was just with my partner and my children (too bohemian, the bare minimum for the children and far from the activities). We had bad weather half the stay (unlucky) and showers that weren't really hot. Very pleasant welcome and a commercial gesture for the water problem. Thanks Peggy
