CAMPING LA CÉLESTINE
In the heart of Provence, Camping La Célestine is the ideal place for nature lovers. In a friendly and family atmosphere, it welcomes you to a region known for its sunshine, blue skies, and fresh alpine air.
Nestled in a still-preserved valley, bordered by a gentle river, you'll find a private 900 m² water area, naturally treated without any chemicals, where you can lounge on its beaches and deckchairs.
This 3-star campsite offers flat pitches, partially or fully shaded. But also 2 and 3 bedroom mobile homes with covered terrace comfortably equipped.
At the foot of the Valensole plateau and its famous lavender fields and at the gates of the Verdon Gorges, this campsite is also located close to the Provençal lakes, such as Lake Saint-Croix, Lake Castillon, and Lake Esparron-de-Verdon.
Not far from there, at 16 km, the spa town of Digne-les-Bains will provide you with all the necessary amenities for your stay (hypermarkets, leisure activities, services, swimming pool, cinema, etc.)

Latest reviews for CAMPING LA CÉLESTINE
A good place to go if the main objective is to rest and get calm and tranquility away from the city, which was our case. We went there in June, just before the pool was opened, so there was not much activity to do. However, there was the river, amongst other things, so the kids could walk around and play anyway. Plus the camping site is not that far from Dignes-les-bains, where there are thermal bath centers to go and relax. We really appreciated. And the owner is very kind and accommodating. 😊
Very nice and attentive hosts with a beautiful camping spot!
Great welcome! Severine and her husband have just taken over this campsite and are very pleasant, smiling and courageous because the campsite is under construction (no swimming pool at the moment) and in the process of being transformed!Good luck for the future
My partner, our baby and I arrived to spend a night at the campsite in a bungalow tent. The welcome was pleasant, the lady was great and really smiling! We were disappointed by the tent itself... The zipper which allows you to open the tent was re-stapled with a school stapler, my partner cut her finger, and me too at the same time, we could not open the shutters despite an infernal temperature inside, because the fasteners no longer allowed the shutter to be held in place.. when we woke up in the morning we found nothing to eat, the snack bar being closed. ..The natural swimming pool is very pleasant but sorely lacking in shade.... Unfortunately we had to shorten our stay and leave a day early....
Honestly, the campsite absolutely needs to review everything!!No bar no entertainment no store if you want bread you have to take the car...we stayed 10 days very quiet campsite I don't recommend with children...the swimming pool nice but after 10 days the water was green and the bottoms slippery the toilets are washed once x day! Lots of water leaks...You really have to invest if you want it to work! Hiring a team leader will not be a luxury to supervise employees.Good luck for the future.
