Latest reviews for CAMPING SANDAYA DOMAINE DU VERDON
For a one-week stopover, we chose Domaine du Verdon, a campsite situated in a beautiful natural area. The campsite itself has a very nice swimming pool and a centrally located playground for children up to around 8-9 years old. However, there are definitely some points that disappointed us; you should certainly be careful about where your campsite is located due to a persistent unpleasant smell.Pros:- Location- Swimming pool- Large camping spots- Beautifully situated along the VerdonCons:- Toilets have been recently renovated but are now heavily worn out- Dirty toilet buildings- Too few toilets- Slippers get stolen at the pool, and our report about this was laughed off
I highly recommend this campsite for rentals as for campers. The location is perfect, the site is leaded by high standards and the offers for children and recreational activities are very good. It‘s fun to be here!
We stayed at the site for 4 nights in June 24 with our touring caravan. The site is in a fantastic setting with the mountains all around and the river running alongside. The pitch we were allocated was wedged between static cabins and the water supply was a hose lying in the long grass along side a sewer pipe outlet. It looked like this was for use with a static cabin and not designed for a touring caravan. This was not good.Generally the site was very nice and seemed well mangaged although on the Friday and Saturday night we were there two of the cabins near us became occupied and the occupants played loud music and made a lot of noise until 10pm. This was not a big problem to us but we were surprised the management did not stop this. I am not sure I would want to be there when it’s very busy. The toilets and showers look good but are not very practical, with poor lighting and not enough hooks, and need to be better maintained.Overall a nice site but could be much better with more attention to detail.
A nice campsite, which unfortunately has 2-3 employees who are very inhospitable. at least one of the women at the front desk was very unpleasant. luckily the one who is of afro descent was super nice. unfortunately there are many facilities that are faulty and some customers are downright disgusting. I don't clean up after using the public bathroom. you have a basketball court, a barbecue court (which is electric and can be used from the app very simply, for free), you have minigolf, pools, a lake for walking and even a special place for gymnastics. the location, what facilities it has (sorry as some defects) is very well thought out. it even has a playground for children. there was also a restaurant and a minimarket. the prices are a bit high, but that's it, take advantage of the fact that there is nothing around, if you don't have anything to move to the city. unfortunately the pool is closed from 19:00! The place should be maintained better, otherwise I recommend it.
