Latest reviews for CAMPING LES EAUX CHAUDES
The environment (mountains) was nice, but that was it. Showers were smelly and on the ceiling lots of spiderwebs, wanted to be out of there as soon as possible. A lot of huts/caravans, little feeling of privacy. Luckily it was a camping to stay just for the night to continue our trip in France.
Nice campsite. We didn't visit the pool as we arrived late. Pitch very nice and shaded. Facilities were lovely and clean.
Easy check-in. Campground is 2 km or 20 min walking above the city center. No restaurant or even pub, but in evening there was a caravan selling pizzas. I couldn't find any power plug to charge my mobile phone and other batteries, which isn't acceptable for people who are travelling only by tent.
Third time I've camped here. Well run site with washing/toilet facilities kept in top order. Breakfast can be pre-ordered the day before as well as baguettes, croissants, pain au chocolat etc. In summer months various hot food vendors visit the site on specified nights. I'm always just in a tent as travel by motorbike, and most of these pitches are shaded and offer electric if required. Supermarket with a filling station about three quarters of a mile away on the way to Digne town, which is about a mile away and well walkable if you fancy a few beers and a meal in town.
For our small tent we pay over 25 euros per night. WiFi and electricity not included. Quite a price for what you get
