I thought for a long time whether to write or not. I decided that maybe the b…h who robbed us will read it. Тhere are no complaints about the camping, probably be better to add cameras.I have one wish for the criminal - let him break as you dry your hair with my Dyson.
Stayed two nights in a mobile home on the campsite which was nice - small kitchen & bathroom , nice outside area. Close walk (15 mins) to lovely village Esparron. It’s not easy to enter the lake from the campsite. Would not be great for small kids. We had paddle boards, had to drive away from the site to enter the lake. Nice campsite, helpful at reception.picture attached it entrance to the lake from campsite.
Fantastic campsite with large spaces for tents, mostly in the shade with enough trees to hang a hammock on many sites. The big draw is direct access to the lake, with canoe hire available. The on site shop, bar and restaurant are reasonably priced.
Quite the spot. Extremely beautiful view on the town and Gorge. Friendly owners and campers. September seems to be the best month to visit as it's pretty easygoing and still not too cold. Though a thick blanket for the colder nights are no spared luxury. The camping site lends canoe's that you can take up the Gorge to Quinson and back. There's a small shop and brasserie at the reception as well. We had a great stay here!
Lovely location, but be warned.Food is shockingly bad.A steep hill for access to lake, ok for under 15's. Be strong & fit if carrying own equipment to tiny beach. They have poor watersport options.Town 100m away but a 25min walk to get there.Shop expensive as nearest suitable supermarket 30 mins drive away.Ice for 6 drinks €1Toilet & shower no.s for size of campsite bare minimum, at least they provide toilet paper.Good shade on pitches.Car access limited.Campside Internet €2 per day if on wrong side of campsite, I managed to get the national network for free.
