CAMPING LES CHAPPAS

We had an amazing time there , the staff and the atmosphere was so nice and welcoming , we even spend one day extra just to be in the camping and play pétanque with others!We definitely go back!

Nice tents with a great view and a great beach but no sand..

Charming campsite and very friendly manager. Perfect for caravans and campers. Not totally ideal for tents although some nice spots for tents exist but you need to look closely for them. Nice walk down to the lake. Only issue are lumpy uneven ground for a tent and lack of bins. Facilities otherwise are fine. Access is fine. Good feeling of security too.

Arrived just after reception closing time at 7pm so called phone number on door and after saying bon soir asked about an emplacement por deux adult avec camper. The reply was a curt oui. Didn't know French for 'we are at the gate' and the man got quite annoyed and handed the phone to someone else who said oui in an annoyed voice. I said bon soir to this man and he said bon soir back and slammed the phone down! Extremely rude for no reason, and surprising considering many other local camp site options.

Nice simple camping. Don't expect a swimming pool nor organised kids entertainment,but that is largely compensated by the friendly and easy going owners and campers.
