Amazing campsite with great restaurant. Swimming pool is perfect and facilities were good too. Stayed for 1 night with my bike. They have some spaces for cyclists which is perfect, as I had no reservation. You can order fresh bread and pastries for 9 am which was nice. Good campsite would stay again easily.
Stayed in a tent for two nights. Great campsite - very friendly staff, perfect location in a valley with hiking trails nearby. Campers respect the place - clean toilets and showers, it is quiet at night.
Reading previous comments, its apparent that the owner thinks that he can do no wrong. On the evening of day three he appeared on our pitch and accused me of not telling him that were staying more than one day. When I pointed out that I had spoken to him on day one to confirm that we would like to stay longer, he ignored this and repeated that this was "a problem" for him. Eventually I asked if he wanted to me to pay the bill, he confirmed that any time in the next 15 minutes would be good! The campsite is OK but suffers from poor drainage, especially around the sanitaires, which turns into a mudbath when it rains
Love this place. So much space between pitches. Cleverly laid out with trees and bushes between pitches, cabins face away from each other. You really get a feeling of space and privacy. It's located in wonderful valley with the sound of the river flowing below. Owners are so nice and friendly. On site restaurant is great - just remember to book as gets very busy. Loads of amazing walks and scenery in the area. We keep coming back time and time again.
If you're looking for a very nice campsite in the midst of the mountains, this place is well worth checking out. It's clean, well-equipped and a relaxing place to stay. You have easy access to the grande route des alpes, hiking, cycling and the local town, Guillaumes (with a couple of restaurant-bars, a supermarket, post office and pharmacy). The owners are super-nice, hospitable and friendly; they have a well-stocked bar with a TV, and do some tasty meals in the evenings. I stayed for 12 days in the middle of June and enjoyed the place immensely.
