Latest reviews for CAMPING LE VALLON DES CIGALES
Nice camping in nature. Lots of activities to get fit. Good swimming pool. Animation in high season evenings gives a bit too much noise when you are not participating. Camping is quiet and well organized.
Nice and calm 3-stars campsite with a countryside look & feel. We stayed here a week at the end of February during the winter season, whilst the camping was clearly being prepared for the summer with a number of additional mobile homes, some of which seem to be permanently occupied. Sanitary is clean but the walls and ceilings look as if they have had better times and there are no hand not hair dryers. There are two beaches at walking distance, but the path for going there is steep or difficult. The main road is quite busy, but cannot be heard. The personnel at the reception are very helpful and are quick to solve any issues when necessary. The camping has a playground for children and an enclosure with ponies, a horse and a small group of goats. The country feeling is further accentuated by a number of chicken and ducks freely strolling around: we even once noticed one of the little baby goats that probably escaped it's enclosure. We mainly used the camping as a base for excursions from Marseille to the Camargue. In the end, being here was a real experience, miles away from a 5-stars clinical clean holiday resort.
Friendly reception and nice pool, big enough spaces, but sometimes a bit undermaintained, could be cleaner and with better sanitary blocks. But quiet and child friendly though
Nice staff, nice grass for a tent. €20 for one person, one tent. WiFi not included, however free WiFi at the reception/bar which worked very well. Pleasant stay.
Low network coverage, the wifi is way to slow
