CAMPING DU LAC "LES ISCLES"

Lovely campsite and friendly staff! We really enjoyed our stay at Les Iscles, which was quiet in June. Well situated and very close to the train station, it was a perfect spot to relax by the gorgeous blue lake after hiking in the Queyras or the Ecrins. Staff were very friendly, with a helpful reception and a nice bar area. It was also great to see their commitment to the environment across the campsite - because of their mowing practices the campsite was teaming with wildlife, with lots of wildflowers and interesting birds. Also very reasonably priced. Merci!

Talking only about the restaurant: the waiters are unhelpful and even a bit rude. Plus the place is expensive: 2 beers and french fries cost 22,5€ here.

We love this place... half an hour from home seems like half à world away. Great, child friendly inexpensive campsite with friendly team and clean facilites. Well worth à visit!

Amazing location, in the midst of the outdoor paradise of the Alps, Ecrins and Queyras. We rented a place by the lake, top view on it. Toilet building behind the lake is way too old, sinks don't ever will be really clean anymore and the showers are a sick joke, hardly any water, so we quickly went to another to shower, which was way further, but fine. Only 1 washing machine is not enough for a campsite this size, a second will come next year, the reception lady said. The campsite restaurant is the worst I've ever been to in France. Horrific salad with old, very dry chicken, my son ordered a taco but got a burrito which looked like a 4 year old is the cook, and the waiter obviously didn't even know the difference, very unprofessional and to avoid. The lake is amazing, the beach volleybal court perfect. It's a public plan d'eau, so very busy with cars around it. 1 point off for the bad restaurant and toilet building that really needs to be replaced, but a perfect base to hike and via ferrata. We will definitely return.

Very nice camping spot with lake / mountain view and lots of shade throughout the day. Lot's of activities for children / families available, hence very lively, too. The sanitary facilities are very old though and need some renovation.
