Latest reviews for CAMPING LES HAUTS DE ROSANS
Was looking for somewhere to camp in order to explore the area. Looks okay to begin with. Plots are very small, barely room for tent and one car. Sanitation is a walk away, I think my plot had been used as a toilet by other previous campers. Gravel tracks around the site are rough and narrow, okay for a 4x4, not so good otherwise. Very hot with little shade. Bit of an endurance test to be honest.
Campsite with panoramic view on surrounding mountains. Nice & clean swimming pool, clean & well maintained sanitary. Small restaurant/bar where they serve pizza, some basic dishes & drinks.Strange enough multiple of the pitches have a lot of trees / bushes blocking thepanoramic view. According to the owner because people also like pitches with shadow and protection from the wind (and yes can be quite windy as it’s on a hill). Pitches are quite small and located close to eachother (so little privacy). So if you want a nice pitch with great view, make a timely reservation. We booked last-minute and were at H8, too small for our camper and without a view.Although friendly hosts, reception was closed between 13:00-15:00 with nobody to picking up the phone or come over (when we arrived 14:00, to welcome us, tell us what pitch to take etc); restaurant/bar in the evening seemed a bit understaffed.Overall, fine campsite but the place did not feel very customer-oriented in terms of service; and it’s quite expensive, we paid ~80€ / night for a camper, electricity & family of 4.
Lovely campsite with great views. Friendly family run campsite. The "premium pitch" with shower, toilet was great - including a fridge and washing up on the pitch as well.
In low season (end june) an absolute paradise! Peace and quietness, a fantastic swimming pool almost to yourself, clean bathrooms and a terrific view. The lodge tents are a recommendation: camping vibe with a bit more convenience. Friendly owners willing to help, supermarkt close by and a lot of vultures!
This camping is located in a beautiful area and offers everything you want. Large swimming pool and possible to have dinner on the spot. Owned by a super friendly French family who are ready to help you day and night with any request you might have.
