Latest reviews for CAMPING L'ISCLE DE PRELLES
Lovely quiet campsite. Pool, small bar and snacks available. Play area for the children and a little mini golf course. Pleasant walk along the river. Toilet blocks cleaned twice daily but very dated, no seats or paper (very common in French campsites) The showers were good with plenty of hot water. 10 minute drive from Briançon. We would happily stay here again
Very clean showers and toilets (most important thing for me!). Well organised and friendly campsite in good location. Lovely walk along the river to the boulangerie/patisserie (10 mins) and 10 mins walk the other way up the river to the supermarket.. very convenient. Nice campsite restaurant and swimming pool area. Good sized pitch with lots of shade.
Very nice campground with shade throughout the day and perfectly located for a variety of activities from climbing, via ferrata, hiking, visiting Briancon etc. The multi-lingual owners are very nice people and gave us a warm welcome. Activities on the campground are abundant and free (mini golf, boules etc). The pool is clean and heated and had a nicer temperature than most other campgrounds we have visited before. The sanitary facilties we used were clean while not being really new and the water temperature could not be regulated but apparently there are newer/revonated sanitary buildings on the campground. We would definitely stay here again once we visit the area again.
Nice relaxed campsite with good facilities.Edit: Very nice to see the campsite owner's response, that positive attitude alone makes it a 4.9 😃. By way of reply I would say that a BBQ area would be a welcome addition. But really a pleasure to stay here, we will be back. Rating upgraded to 5 stars.
One of the best camping's we have been in our road trip. It is a place close to the river, with lots of trees. The pitches are really nice, in the middle of the forest. They have bungalows and Nordic sauna in wonderful wood cottagges. In summer at least they have a food truck every night with different food, and a bakery come T 8am selling great bread and pastries like cruasans. The attention is great, and they have a swimming pool for summerWithout doubt we will come back :)
