Latest reviews for CAMPING HUTTOPIA DE LA CLARÉE
Not the best Huttopia, the location is great and staff very friendly but the campsite equipment is aging and undersized, not enough toilets and showers and long queues. The shower temperature is irregular, I had cold shower everyday, other seems to have been more lucky than me. There no hot water for dishwashing, which makes the dish cleaning quite a painful experience. The water in pool was very blurry and didn’t felt clean. There not enough washing machine for the site, it took me three days to find an available spot. The service at the bar and restaurant seems very disorganised and orders where mixed up. All together not great value for money.
What a fantastic place! Great location and superbly helpful staff. Overall a brilliant campsite.
Beautiful setting, so peaceful and lovely to have the river so close (we had 2 swims, it’s quite cold though!). Everything we needed was provided by renting the bonaventure tent, we didn’t need to bring anything but linen! Facilities were very clean. We didn’t use the pool but it looked great and quiet while we were there mid-June. We’ll definitely come back! You have to take a drive up the valley, it’s just so beautiful!
Nice setting, but the facilities are inadequate for the number of guests. Not enough bathrooms, the queues at the bar (to pick up bread or to get a drink, not to mention pizza, which you have to reserve hours in advance) are superlong. The houses for rent look very nice, as do the riverside tent sites - but we stayed on a site on a crossroads (maybe we were unlucky) which didn't feel chilled out at all. There is room for improvement!
A lovely campsite in a beautiful setting. We had a great time here, especially hiking in the La Claree valley nearby, with waterfall pools to swim in and amazing views. The campsite pool is heated so it's nice even when the weather is bad. The brst pitches are near the part of the river that is away from the road, but they're all pretty good.
