CAMPING LES TOMASSES

What a fabulous family run site. Situated on the outskirts of of Belgentier this small site was well laid out with shaded pitches, newly refurbished toilet and shower blocks which were maintained to a high standard and cleaned regularly, a wonderful swimming pool and easy access to a main Supermarket 3 miles away. We received a warm welcome on arrival and Vincent, the owner, explained about the site. He apologised that only one shower/toilet block was opened but that was because the site had only a few Caravans/motorhomes visiting as it was still low season. He also advised us that they had a wedding party in progress on the following Saturday and that the snack bar therefore would be closed but that was no problem. He also assured us that any noise would be kept to a minimum, which it was. The pitches were predominantly flat and of a good size with water and electric on each pitch. Chemical waste points were available and cleaned daily. It was an ideal base for the local beaches and for visiting the beautiful villages in the Var region. We stayed for 13 nights and would happily return. The only downside is that where we were pitched was the opposite side of the river to a local restaurant which also doubled as a wedding venue and on 3 nights the celebrations went on into the early hours of the morning. Not the fault of the site owners but nevertheless it took the edge off an otherwise perfect stay. I would certainly recommend this site and would happily return . Thank you

If you need a night stop coming from the ferry in Toulon, it’s perfect.Very nice hosts- super friendly…I think staying there for a family vacation it would be perfect.Merci!

Be very careful to ask for a spot in the shade, as there are a few places with sun 90 percent of the day. We paid 88 euro for two nights (2 persons and small van) and ended up having to leave the camping during the day to flea the heat and decided not to extend our stay.If you have a better spot, it is an otherwise charming camping and lovely for families, though quite pricey in all respects.

Lovely family run campground with beautiful spacious spots. We could camp next to a small river underneath a fig tree! Clean facilities and nice little restaurant. Also the owner has been very welcoming and helpful. All that came at a very good price to value ratio!

Really nice owners and a beautiful camping, would definitely recommend! 10/10
