Latest reviews for CAMPING DE LA BAIE
This is a nice place. It is really close to the sea. Amazing view. They also have swimming Pool, jacuzzi and a nice little bar/cafe. The houses are pretty small but good for the price. I will definitely come back here next time.
The best of this camping is location: beaches, restaurants, shopping are everything are within walking distance. The campsite itself is falling apart a little, there are not enough curtains somewhere, screws are sticking out somewhere... the air conditioner worked well. The blankets that were given to us were not processed or washed and smelled like previous users - we managed without them, we had our own. The pool is too small for such a crowd of people, so it is unlikely that you will enjoy it. There is a great entertainment program for children at the campsite, our boy (7 years old) he really liked it. The staff is friendly, not fast, but responsive. The main thing in camping is location! If you want cleanliness and comfort, it's better to look for a hotel.
This has to be the best situated campsite ever!Very short walk into the well-appointed town of Cavalair-sur-Mer with its stunning harbour fronted by more restaurants than you could wish for, the town has numerous bars, cafes and shops, and even a Carrefour supermarket within walking distance. The campsite itself, although always close to capacity when we've visited, is quiet and calm. The pool area is clean and well maintained. The bar and restaurant is excellent in service and food quality - much to my surprise, no standards are dropped just because of a "captive audience"Thank you Camping de la Baie team!! 🙏 We will return!!
The girls on the reception were nightmare, aggressive, rude and simply disgusting, I think they should never be allowed to work with people at all, maybe in a zoo, our friends asked about the towels, they started to scream at us that they have no towels, I think they are mentally ill, it's the first time in our lives we have seen something like this ( other tourists said it's normal practice to verbally abuse and scream at customers) .Now, we understand that camping is the place where the lowest quality or people work, that they have no education, but can they at least be nice???We are very experienced travellers but this is the first time we see something like this. Rest of the time when they don't scream and verbally abuse customers with their big dirty mouthes, they talk all the bad things about customers. In any normal place they would be just fired immediately. Regarding. What an experience, our friends are shocked that their vocations were ruined. The camping itsels is extremely old, mobile homes are very dirty and very old, literally falling apart, the filtration system in the swimming pool doesn't work.
Good location but don't go here if you want peace and quiet. The animation team, disco until 1 pm or aquarobics at dawn will keep you from sleeping. Also no water source at your place, no garbage disposals at the bathrooms and staff is not proactive in providing the right info (ie you need a keycard to enter but they won't tell you at reception) and don't be surprised to pay almost €100 per night for a family of 5😬
