CAMPING LA BERGERIE PLAGE
Located on the seaside on the Giens peninsula, this small family campsite offers you a tranquil and sunny holiday thanks to its direct access to a magnificent beach of fine sand, just 200 m away via a sandy path through the pine trees, with no roads to cross.
Its privileged location also allows you to discover the islands of Hyères, Porquerolles, and Port-Cros, as well as Hyères, a leading water sports destination in France and Europe. Kitesurfing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, canoeing, coastal hiking, sailing, jet skiing will delight sports enthusiasts. Not to mention simply relaxing on the beach for sunbathers.
For accommodation, it only offers around fifty air-conditioned mobile homes equipped with a wooden terrace and garden furniture, accommodating from 2 to 8 people. This allows you to find the ideal accommodation for your holiday as a couple, family, or with friends on the French Riviera.
In high season, the snack/pizzeria offers wood-fired pizzas as well as sandwiches, ice creams, and drinks. This family-friendly campsite does not offer entertainment.

Conveniently located on the Giens Peninsula, near the port (from where ferries depart multiple times a day to and from Porquerolles and the other islands) and nead the village of Hyères. Plenty of beaches nearby. Small but cosy and neat mobile-homes. Helpful and friendly staff.

What can be said well? The maintenance staff are very pleasant and conscientious. Sanitary facilities and showers always clean.Affordable price.Quick access to the sea, even if the path that leads there could do with some cleaning.What can I say bad? The list is long, I will try to keep it short.Reception borderline unpleasant.No more security from 6 p.m., so people are left to their own devices, children run and scream until late, it's difficult to get to sleep before midnight.Vehicles circulate in the campsite, enter and exit outside authorized times (the fact has been reported several times without result).A small deposit of bread would be welcome.This is, among other things, why I only give two stars, quite honestly, it's not worth more.For my part, I will not repeat the experience.
