Latest reviews for YELLOH! VILLAGE LES TOURNELS
We stayed at the campsite for about 2 weeks. Unfortunately, a road and pitches were being renovated during the entire period, so that during the week the trucks sometimes drove past our pitch from 7am and loud construction noise could be heard from 8am. After enquiring at reception, it was supposed to be finished a week after our arrival, which unfortunately wasn't the case...Even in the evenings, the music from the entertainment often echoed up to the pitches well into the night. So if you are looking for a quiet place, this is not the place for you.Otherwise, the campsite is nice and doesn't seem as big as it actually is, as it is well spread out due to the terraces. However, it is also very steep, which makes cycling almost impossible for small children if you are higher up.Apart from that, the area around the pool area and the restaurant has quite a few small defects, such as chipped tiles, which haven't just been broken for two weeks. Otherwise, the lower part of the pool area is very nice. The entertainment team was generally very friendly and offered a good program for the children. Conclusion: Due to the noise, we would probably not vacation here again.
We stayed for the second time there, caravan, family plus dog. It’s always a pleasure, with special thanks to the team of animateurs! Usually everything clean, location is amazing, but it gets quite busy in the summer, of course. One big issue is the pool area, as most people reserve sun beds and are not even around. After 11 it’s basically impossible to get one and you can sit on the floor next to rows of empty but reserved ones… please do consider enforcing the no reservation rule!Otherwise a beautiful and well maintained camping area, we’ll be back!
We stayed in June at this campsite for 4 nights in total. Originally we wanted to stay for two nights but extended our stay for another two. We had to change our pitch, which wasn't a problem for us. Our first pitch (AR51) was very far away from the electricity station. The pitches were overall level and spacious, but the streets can be very steep due to the location of the campsite. The bathrooms were always clean and nice. The showers could use some more options for hanging clothes or towels but were at a top level overall. The staff was always nice and welcoming and most of them spoke good English. The pool and animation is family friendly and on a top level. The campsite is located on a hill surrounded by vineyards. The beach is about a 25-30 minute walk away, but we recommend driving 5-10 minutes by car to plage de l'escalet.10 minutes walking brings you to the Spar grocery store or you can use the shuttle provided by the campsite (there is also a shuttle available that brings you to the beach). We didn't try any restaurants.Even for June the campsite was quite full, so I would recommend booking in advance especially for July and August. We paid around 38€ a night.Definitely recommending this campsite! Thanks for having us!
Really upset with the reception. First we arrived around 12:00 and they said that we could choose between 2 cottages without difference of price, than later they charged for that, besides that is 18:00 and we’re still not able to get to the room and the receptionist only say she doesn’t know when the room will be ready with the cleaning. Never saw anywhere that is end of afternoon but you still can’t check in because they’re still cleaning and worse of all they have no idea when is gonna be ready. We’re paying to wait at the reception the whole day. Not coming back here.
Best Camping on the Cote d‘Azure. Excellent helpful staff. Everybody speaks English. Great beach nearby. Great food. Great wine
