CAMPING LES PLAYES

A peaceful, quiet campsite with good facilities. There's a tiered platform for mo-ho's & caravans plus tents, off season plenty of space in high season pitches would be quite close together. There's a steep incline to the washing up area so if you have limited mobility it could be a problem. Plenty of loos, showers, washing machine, and an outside pool. There's a small children's play area also. Without transport you are limited to where you can go, we walked about 25 mins to the beach front which was fine, & passed a fruit & veg/wine/cheese shop on our left. There's a supermarket about 30 mins walk in the opposite direction. Staff at the site were friendly although they have limited English, like my limited French but Google translate was helpful. Clean facilities apart from outside washing up area that gets covered in pine needles & you get wet if raining. Could do with a cover up roof of some sort but not a real problem. Would come again for the peaceful setting.

Visited off season. Gentleman in charge helpful and polite but he had as much English as I have French... But we got along and everything was sorted. Nice level plots. But only 12 campers on site... The rest are chalets 😊

Camping Les Playes Lovely, compact site with a nice, clean pool area. Within easy reach of beaches (10 mins walk) and shops. Very welcoming people helped make our stay very memorable.

The campsite is walk able to the coast. Entrance through some narrow residential roads. Has a nice looking swimming pool. The whole site is on a steep hill, a one way road system through the site. Most of the site is given over to chalets, and very few pitches for camping/caravans/camper vans.We were out of season and arrived without booking. I can see that would be a problem during the high season. Nobody around when we arrived, found a pitch and parked. Checking later on.Loos / showers were fine. The site is shady with tall pine trees.

Very friendly staff! The campside is beautifully located under the pine trees, but not prepared to stay with a tent.There were mostly camper spots and both have the same price: 40euros! We were placed next to the reception and pool, which means waking up every morning at 8.30, because of vacuuming of the pool and after that Zumba lessons.The toilets are very basic, smelly and shared with a bit too much people, including the pool guests.The places are small and close to each other.Not worth the price! They should take inconsideration a different pricing system depending on with what you're staying and where....
