Latest reviews for CAMPING DE L'AYGUETTE
This is an absolutely fantastic campsite! Renaud and Audrey are very welcoming and helpful, the plots are very spacious and shady beneath the pine trees. Camping de l'Ayguette is very peaceful, the toilets and showers are super, the forest is perfect for walking the dog, and the food in the restaurant is excellent. We have visited several times this year, as it is an ideal base when climbing at St Leger, and we will be returning again next year. Strongly recommend.
One of these canpings where you will feel like home. The owners are very kind and make you feel very comfortable, plus the clean and modern toilets, the casual restaurant, the daily activities, etc will make your vacation perfect. The area where it is located inside a forest and surrounded by vineyards and olive trees in a very Provence atmosphere.Very recommendable.
Found this campsite more or less by coincidence, and fell in love with it. It feels a bit like camping in the woods with the many pine and oak trees, which furthermore provide very welcome shade when it's hot. The blue sky, the light wind, the cicadas in the trees, the olive trees and vine stocks on and around the campsite provide the real Provence feeling. The staff/owners are nice and helpful, the facilities kept very clean. The showers are perfect as you can choose the temperature of the water, the toilets provide paper. The only thing not quite so perfect are the dish washing sinks. Too much pressure and tepid water. From the campsite we visited a couple of old and beautiful little villages by walking through the amazing landscape. Vaison-la-Romaine and a few different supermarkets can be reached by car within minutes. Looking forward to return to this place some other time.
Superb campsite with heated swimming pool in April. Pitches on gravely base amongst pine trees. Our pitch had sun in the morning and evening and was right next to an Olive grove. Great location for cycling in the Vaucluse and Drome areas, with good views of Mont Ventoux 4k from nearest supermarket but bread available on site each morning. Very polite friendly helpful staff.
Very nice campsite in the middle of the vineyards. Sanitaires very clean and spacious. Good restaurant with excellent pizza’s. The owners extremely friendly. We will certainly come back.
