What a bad welcome from the campsite manager. We stayed 1 night at the lodge and it was not possible for us to leave our cars the following day inside the campsite which was half empty. Furthermore, when we arrived, this gentleman did not want to give us the key to the gîte until the deposit check and the inventory was done, so we had to stay with our luggage outside in the rain. formalities! Following our insistence, we were told that if we were not happy we could go elsewhere even though we had reserved this night for 8 people for 6 months. No comments…

Friendly welcome, clean and functional gîte!One small regret, that it is not equipped with an oven to be able to make large family meals ;)The view of the village from the dormitory window in the early morning is worth a look.

Stay from May 8, 2022 to June 11, 2022. Perfect welcome with excellent relationships throughout the stay with Hervé the manager and Véro our “house fairy”. Just respect others, as everywhere else, and you will be respected. There are hours to respect, staff may also have the right to privacy and Mr. Chambrier would have only needed to make a quick phone call before closing hours to find an arrangement. On the other hand, as told on this site, we have the impression that this gentleman thinks he can do anything, but no! respect and good manners simplify relationships.

I knew this campsite well having stayed there several times until I met the manager.Having had the misfortune of arriving at 10 p.m. on a summer evening, I was greeted as if I had committed the most abominable of crimes because “you don't arrive at 10 p.m. in the evening at a campsite”.What an abject mistake, what an unspeakable misdeed I had committed...Certainly the hour is late but is that a reason for such a hostile reception?Furthermore, although you certainly don't care, do you think that this is the best image that we can give of France to the two Brazilian friends who accompanied me?It had been a long time since I had been ashamed of my country and its legendary welcome. Thanks to you, it’s now done…Ps: I would like to point out that a few kilometers further on in the town of Murs I found a campsite that was just as good, if not better equipped, with an infinitely more welcoming reception team.Camper friends, you know what to expect.
