Latest reviews for CAMPING LE COLORADO
Very nice location but when we wanted to look at the site with the kids before staying, staff was absolutely rude and what we saw was not very clean. And when I asked for actual prices at the reception, I was told to look online. So we decided not to stay.
A good enough camping in terms of provisions and shade (lots of random trees), but a nightmare to get a level sleeping place. The camping is on a really steep hill and might be daunting to some drivers. It also means every walk to the reception or the pool is a good bit of exercise. The bit that stood out for me is the Vietnamese Food you could get from a little stand next to the reception.
The staff are as helpful as they can be.It's a real challenge to drive the tent pegs into the ground you're given to pitch your tent on, though. And good luck with trying to bang them in with a rock, unless you bring a fancy little mallet of your own, of course. The ground is a hard-packed sand-and-stone mix... as hard as the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in the USA. Perhaps that's how the campsite got its name.
This is the worst camp ever we ever visit in France.
