CAMPING DOMAINE DES CHÊNES BLANCS

The location of the campsite is very good, it is in the middle of nature. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The pitches are also very nice, the size was convenient for two of us. However toilets and showers definitely need renovation. Their condition is terrible and they were always dirty. Early in the morning it was impossible to find a clean toilet. Some of the doors in toilets can not be closed. Some sinks are not working. There is no soap in the toilet, each time you have to carry your own soap with you..

A very nice camping location with awesome staff. They helped out in every situation and were so kind while doing so. Sanitary facilities are good and get cleaned very regularly. The only thing I could point out are the small pitches. You are very close to your neighbors, so let’s hope you like em :)

very well run campground in the countryside near saint saturnin les apt. Limited reception service after 6 p.m. It is quiet, organized, staffed with friendly people. wifi was excellent during my stay. i booked a mobile home cabin. it differs from a hotel, as you need to bring your own sheets and towels, although camping style mattresses and pillows, and basic blankets are provided. my small kitchen facilities have basic eating and cooking utensils.

It is a lovely campsite as described before, but the pitches are tight with low branches in the tree. The ACSI guide describes them a spacious.But my biggest bugbear was the price. ACSI quotes 19 euro, so for three nights with TT I'd expect to pay about 60 euro. I was charged just over 80 euro. 60euro + 12 euro booking fee + 5 euro environmental charge + 3 euro for cancellation insurance! Whilst standing at the reception desk, I am hardly going to cancel, am I? A booking fee really?

Great campsite, plenty of shade and level pitches. Staff friendly and helpful. The site always felt alive with activities and friendly campers. Pétanque very popular. Food good. Definitely would visit again. Area has plenty of walks and cycle routes. Lots to see locally.
