Latest reviews for CAMPING LA MONTAGNE
My review is based on traveling with a tent. We stayed on this camping for one night and it was good if you're traveling further the next day. The camping has many many stay caravans/cabins. The pool is nice but small. The sanitary is basic but clean and good. I wouldn't recommend to stay for a long time with a tent. For one or two nights it is good and fine. The owners are friendly. Mosquito s were there, but not too much (August 2021). There is no restaurant (only drinks) but the owners helped with ordering pizza (which was great). The highway is probably not noticeable when you stay in a caravan/cabin. In a tent you will hear the noise but the highway noise is not that loud that you can't sleep.
What a great campsite. On arrival we received a warm and friendly welcome with a good explanation of the facilities available. We were here at the very beginning of March, so the bar and swimming pool were not open - but they looked fabulous. There's a heated shower/toilet block which was a godsend in the cold mornings/evenings.The site is really well located for exploring the area.We loved this site and will definitely return.
We stayed one night on our way to spain and for one night this campground is good. The highway is not far away so you can hear it but it is not super loud. The campground has many trees and a forest right beside it. Sanitary building is clean, but there are no toilet seats and no soap, shower has low water pressure and is lukewarm. Many trashcans, dogs allowed, card payment possible. Wifi is free and works well. We will stay here again for one night on our way back.
A great site, the best that we have stayed at in our five week tour from Santander across Spain and France.
Very expensive for a very poor camping spot. The main women's toilet and shower facilities were out of order/locked and for the price I expected toilet paper to be provided at least. Looking back now at the website they charged us more than double what they advertise as the pitch price for two people, tent and car. Shame on them for being dishonest and shame on us for not checking.
