CAMPING DU THÉÂTRE ROMAIN

We loved this campsite so much a few years ago that we came back for three night early August 2023. It lived up to expectations, the team work really hard to ensure everyone has a good stay. Very clean shower and toilet blocks, love swimming pool and bar area. Easy walk into the town. Highly recommended.

This campground was very nicely organized with spacious sites for our 4 tents and 5 bicycles. The restrooms were very clean, with lots of places to wash up and with hot showers. There is also a very nice, large room in which to eat and be out of the sun or rain. We could order pastries or bread the night before, to be ready in the morning along with coffee. And we attended a wine tasting and a pizza truck right at the campsite. The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating, and we'd be delighted to stay there again. One last thing, there are swimming pools available, but in April it was just a bit too cold for us.

A Beautiful small campsite very friendly. The site is a gentle 20 minute walk. The town has a great Tuesday market and a Lidl’s about 5 mins walk. The site has a nice little bar serving reasonably priced beer and wine There is a wine tasting some evening and a local selling fruit and juices The pool is a nice size

Great grounds to use as base to explore the region. Stayed here early October 2023.Easy, short walk to town. You get to see the Roman theatre ruins while you walk into the "new" town. Old town is just a bit further. Super easy to walk.City Markets on Tuesday, really good and diverse. Get cheese and charcuterie from the region.Lidl, Aldi, superU around the block, easy to buy your groceries.Camp site goes the extra mile offering on-site pizza, paella, wine tasting nights. Office also has a wine & beer wine, which is perfect after you use the pool or play jeu de boules. They can also provide bread for you when scheduling it the day before. I prefer walking out early in the morning and getting it myself.We stayed at a cabin, very clean, with everything you need (fridge, cook stove, utensils, cutlery). Even a clothes hanger and BBQ. Efficient A/C on living room.You can buy linen for extra or BYO.Parking in front of your own cabin.Quiet at night, very easy to have a rest at night.I went for a run around the area, plenty of vineyards and hills around to make it a nice, relaxing and even demanding run.Highly recommended, and if back in the area will definitely stay here.

The staff were friendly, and even offered us free welcome drinks. The facilities were modern and clean. The site is very family friendly and quiet. They have no grass pitches for tents, the ground was very stoney and really hard to get tent pegs into. The swimming pool area looks great, but sadly we did not get chance to use it as it closes early (7pm). The town center is just a short walk away with lots of restaurants and shopping possibilities.
