Fabulous stay here. Staff friendly. Clean toilets ect. Lovely site. Swimming brilliant. We will be back thank you. Regards mark sharon and teddy
A good campsite on the banks of the Loire and perfect for cycling in either direction. The pitches are a good size. The location is quiet but within easy walking distance of a small town with a mini supermarket, bakery and restaurants. There is an interesting sculpture trail too. The facilities were okay. The showers were a fine blast /jet and not very hot. The washing up sinks were good. There is no toilet paper in the cubicles but there is a roll outside. Friendly staff.
Note: I was cycle touring in the off season (early May). I can see where it might get really busy with caravans and families. Facilities are nice and clean, with kitchen area/fridge for bike campers. Bike touring people dont really need their own specific site, just a nice flat grassy spot. 🙂 It was perfect for early season bike touring.
This was a friendly and nice place. Our site was shaded but with some sun The town is close by with a huge and interesting church. We walked up to the church which is quite a dander.. We cycled to Chalon sur Loire which is also worth a visit. Grest quiet bike ride. Mostly no cars. We met a lovely English couple and had a few bevvies with them at the campsite. The only downside was the showers which in the cold evenings were very cold for me. They are quite open to the night and morning chills. FGF4/5 €18.30 per night with ACSI card
Reasonable site for motorhome & caravans. Lots of plastic bungalows and canvas cabins occupying best pitches. Spacious pitches with water and electric. Part shaded, Loire cycle route close by with bars and cafes. High season, well I hate to think! Animations!!!
