CAMPING TERRE D'ENTENTE

We stayed here as reasonable location to visit Saumur for the 14 July fireworks. It was pleasant enough, the staff were very helpful and the site itself great. At €35 for two adults and a child on bikes it just seems a bit expensive, hence the 4 stars rather than 5.

The best camping site we have been to in France. Clean, beautiful, very well equipped tents , but more importantly- very nice, professional, and hard-working owners that make your time ion the camping grounds very special ! Don't miss the paella night in the restaurant.

The camping ground is a great place for a holiday at the river Loire. We came for two nights and ended up staying 5 because we liked it so much. The camping ground is very pretty with lots of old trees and directly at the river Loire.The owners are very nice and caring. The sanitary facilities are basic as it is a 2* camping ground, but well kept and clean.There is a little snack bar with good food and a daily bread & pastry service.We can only recommend it for a relaxing stay at the Loire Valley and will be happy to return!

The campsite is a real find. Right on the banks of the Loire with cycle tracks to a fantastic nearby restaurant and the local towns. Very clean facilities. We booked for 2 nights but stayed for 6. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Try the restaurant/snack bar - definitely worth it. Highly recommended 👌

Attention UK tourists: this is a lovely campsite, but in the process of writing this review have found that France does not have the same hygeine standards for campsites as the UK. As a 2 Star campsite, they do not need to provide toilet roll or hand soap in the toilets. So if you come here please bring your own, although they do also sell it in the shop. We were concerned about the general hygeine at the campsite, as we saw no other campers bring and use their own hand soap. We have deleted our previous review, as this was perhaps unfairly harsh given we now know that the are not obliged to meet this hygeine standard. But we are still disappointed and feel it's important to inform future guests.Otherwise, this campsite is fantastic: warm welcome, available staff, small shop, restaraunt on site, playground, and even activities such as wine tasting. It has good views of the Loire and well located for local tourism.
