RESORT & CAMPING - VAL DE BRAYE

Superb value little campsite for a family quiet break. Some facilities are a little dated but they’re immaculately clean and perfectly serviceable. The new on-site Indian restaurant is lovely, great food and again excellent value. Pool is the municipal one (with a gate into the campsite, so you can wander back in your swimmers), however the campsite issues you chits for inclusive entry and it’s actually excellent, indoor, outdoor and a respectable slide.Boulangeries in town are good and a short walk away, there a well stocked supermarket (plus good priced fuel) about 4 mins drive away on the north side of town. Owners speak excellent French and English.We had a very relaxing break.

Reception was unmanned when we arrived but a quick phone call soon rectified this.The owner is really nice and super friendly and helpful.The site is very tidy and the toilet/ shower block immaculately clean.There is a municipal swimming pool and tennis courts on site but as we were there just before New Year they were closed.I would recommend this site and would definitely stay there again.

Very good camping at a very nice location, with very good service. Clean sanitation. Quiet and family friendly. The pool is owned by the municipale, so opening hours are different from pools at other campings. And all of this for a ridiculously low price!

We had a very pleasant stay here, the staff is very friendly and helpful, good music and chill atmosphere at the bar. You can enjoy the swimming pool next to the camping or play tennis for free in the afternoon. We will definitely come back again next year.

This site was not officially opening until the next day but on phoning up the lady who spoke English said we could enter pitch where we liked and use all the facilities! Just put cash in the letter box. It was fantastic ! Large flat grassy pitches. Fabulous wash block Thank you so much for letting us in.
