CAMPING LE PONT ROMAIN - ONLYCAMP

We just had a fabulous 10 day stay here, the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The facilities are very new, well maintained and kept very clean. The shower blocks are now separate mens/women’s heated and never too busy while we were there plenty of space and very clean. We LOVED the pool and the little snack bar, delicious pizzas and cold beers. Very easy access to anywhere in Le Mans by car.

We stopped here on our French tour. I wanted to visit the museum at Le Mans and this was close by. Welcomed by the lovely staff on reception and got to select the pitch we liked the look of. The pitch itself was well kept, a little tricky to find the hook-up point at first as it was buried in a bush, but we got there. Facilities were very nice, plenty of showers and wash basins, toilets were nice and clean, no seats though. Would happily book another stop here.

Really sorry to leave this review. We arrived mid May, the pitches and grounds were unkempt and poorly signposted. On arrival we were not given a plan of the site and had to find our own way round. Bear in mind that the roads to right and left lead to dead ends, so you have to turn round. Not so bad with a motorhome but quite difficult with a caravan.The toilet and shower block was, however very clean and modern.

Nice stop off just outside the city of Le Mans. Decent shower facilities, snack bar, fresh bread and croissants from the reception. Very friendly site and a small pool.

A lovely site with good facilities in a perfect location to Le Mans.The toilets and showers are kept very clean. The reception also acts as a small shop.
