CAMPING BEAUCHENE

Simple 3 star camping, nice shady pitches. Clean toilet facilities. Good sized clean pool and kids activity area. Staff were very helpful and spoke English very well. Super cheap pitches with really high quality entertainment each evening. Ticks a load of boxes after 10 days in Aires. Good place to relax with some space.

We saw this site after attempting to find 3 others that were shut for repairs. Once again we found this by pure chance and the wardens went out of there way to help us ,they were both so friendly and helpful. The pitch we had been given came with a little shed that contained a kitchen on one side and a shower and toilet on the other ,they were both spotlessly clean and the kitchen came with a microwave oven and coffee machine , the shower was very powerful and boiling hot water if you needed it. There is a swimming pool but we never used it and most of the time we were there it was empty. There are lots of shops nearby so you don't have to go far about 1/2 a mile for bread or to the local bar. We stayed for 10 days exploring the coastal ports and towns which were all within 25 mins ,we loved it and will definitely be coming back in the near future.

Family campsite, good atmosphere.Mobile home a little dated but enough for sleeping.Slightly limited children's infrastructure.Some activities and children's club which we took advantage of.Very pleasant and available staff.Restaurant and bar prices affordable.Lots of activities and outings to do in the region but 15 minutes by car minimum to go shopping, go to the beach, to the market.

Not great far from it“Chinese” camps in one part of the campsite there are some who like it, but not me.Sanitary facilities very clean and cleaned several times a day.Small but well separated pitches but you should think about cutting the lower branches below 3 meters because they hang hard at the top and it is very unpleasant.There is a pond but it is a green and dirty pond.Especially if you see the barrier open when leaving with your two wheels, don't pass because, on the way back, you will have unpleasant remarks from some guy from the staff.Beautiful indoor swimming pool, clean and warm water but shaky edges dirty with vegetation that enters this place which seems neglected.Oh yes, do you like music? You will feel good there.Two nights are enough for me...I give the stars for the very serious cleaning ladies and the very friendly seasonal reception staff.

It's a shame that the mosquito net in the double room was not repaired for our arrival.Toilet flush float broken (forced to 'play' with the tap) and also not repaired even though we had declared these incidents after our arrival.Wedging of the terrace to be reviewed...Pool copings and slabs that move.Small lack of exterior maintenance.Noisy residents until after midnight.'Good' overall because we didn't spend the day at the campsite but with points to review... Good stay all the same.Very well placed for outings, whether on the Sables side or L'aiguillon because right in the middle.Talmont beach 15 minutes away.
