Great camping, been here many times. Good food in the restaurant and the pools were large. The outside pool was almost empty most of the time as it was a little chilly! Good little campsite shop with everything you need. Access to the beach is perfect with just 100m to walk to get onto the 8km long beach.
sanitary areas are very clean, new, heated, unisex, hot showers, soap and toilet paper is available, camping is well taken care of. excellent camping in total! the ONLY dislike (but major) is that there is no telephone reception/mobile internet accessible on the campground. you can purchase internet access extra. this service should be included in the prices!
The campsite is ideal for families with children, with numerous animations and a colourful supporting programme. The sanitary facilities are very modern, spacious, numerous, totally clean and there are even outdoor showers for surfers with warm water.👍🏻However, the pitches are very narrow, the pitches are assigned and finally you stand fenced in between the bungalows. We like places close to nature, this one has asphalted roads and footpaths and the whole area has nothing to do with a campsite. The beach is only 100 - 150 m away, there are 2 surf schools and specially designated surf beaches. The friendly staff canceled the remaining nights without any problems and we got our money back.Probably a great place for families, but unfortunately not for nature lovers with a camper/bulli.
I go here every year and it is fantastic! Heading off there pretty soon also, I absolutely love it! I am a teen and find the weather is usually lovely but can have some rain (which I like because I don't like sun constantly). We had a huge thunder and lightening storm there last year which I thought was amazing! I loved it. Great for family's to camp or rent a caravan. The pool is lovely and has both indoor and out and a baby pool! Also includes a bar and games room with entertainment apart from saturdAy (switch over day).
We found it Ok. But as it is not our type of campsite we didn't enjoy it too much. It is not a campsite for tents and there are hardly any pitches just chalets. I don't quite understand why it is rated as 5 stars since the toilets, showers are mixed, there are no plug and no toilet paper which you would expect with five stars. The access to the beach was good. The little shop was very expensive. Luckily we weren't near to the centre because it was quite loud. No bread could be ordered after 12:00 which doesn't work for people who arrive after 12:00. This is not a campsite for cycle touring with tents.
