Latest reviews for CAMPING CLUB MS LES BRUNELLES
The pool is absolutely incredible! So much to do for all ages. We cane with our nearly 2 year old and he LOVED IT! Fab park too. The beaches are close and are huge long sandy beaches. We stayed in a safari tent and it was lovely.
We stayed in June in a 3 Room Air Conditioned Unit on a family holiday. Between 4-5 hours drive from Calais. We had a late check in reception was closed but no issue as they had the keys left out for us with info pack and the car barrier uses ANPR.The campsite is immaculately clean as was the accommodation. Accommodation has a really nice covered deck for eating on. Good facilities shower really powerful. Well equipped with wear and cutlery. Only complaints was toilet room had no sink (it was in separate shower room). There are hobs and microwave but no full oven. The campsite is compact, accommodation is a very short walk away from everything. There is a restaurant, takeaway and shop onsite for essentials. Takeaway is good value a huge bucket of chips and pizza for €22. Shop has everything you want obviously you will pay a bit more for the convenience verses going to a hypermarket. They do fresh baked bread and treats every morning. The only annoyance is a French thing and not specific to this site but the takeaway /restaurant closes at 2 pm about the time we would finish a morning swim and want food. There is a waterpark onsite with lots of facilities - large slides an toboggons, lazy river, wave beach, heated indoor area with more slides, headed covered area. If you are staying here you do not need to visit a waterpark. There is an organised kids club we didn't really use, with facilities organised by age. The sports area includes football, volleyball, table tennis, mini golf, various petanque areas and archery across the road. Lots of bike rentals and organised cycles take place during the week. There are kids discos and darts in the entertainment area. There is a large playground onsite with multistory jungle gym and inflatable bouncy castles. There is a lovely walk to the beach through the forest across the way about 10-15 minutes. The nearest town Jard-Sur-Mer is a 5 minute drive and there is a Hyper U for shopping and a discount branded clothes store - Espaces des Marques. It's also a one hour drive to Puy du Fou if that is on your travel itinerary. Of note locally is the homestead of Georges Clemenceau, leader of France during WWI.Staff were friendly and helpful. We have been showing friends photos of the waterpark and they are all keen to go there!
Expensive & large campsite - the slides get boring quickly even for kids/Food while ok make you not want to dine out/Mobile was clean if a little dated/Area is so-so/A bit rough around the edges. Our rental EV was vandalised at the in-site charger station - somebody was upset at us using it? And did not overstay (as if that would validate that criminal behaviour) Ran a key along the entire side of the car - €800 charge by car rentalNo camera & no interest shown by campsite security/management - suggestion to install a camera was met by a shrugAvoid & stay somewhere cheaper nearer the beach, where you can have fun, eat better, see prettier areas & even save money...and definitely not be vandalised
Campsite facilities excellent, staff very friendly and helpful but mobile home was very rough around the edges, showing its age, sofa worn, bent shelving ,shower kept turning cold and beds not very comfortable, pitch was terrible, it's like the mobile home was squeezed into a corner, no grass just old wood chip not very attractive, half a parking space, limited space to get in and out and view from deck was a service shed and exposed pipe covered badly with broken slab
Great campsite especially if you want a good swimming pool. Expensive.
