We have just spent the most wonderful week at this campsite. It was our first time camping in France and it has been the best experience. Our pitch was a generous size for our car and 4 person tent. It was close to the electric hook up point and tap. The site is well laid out with mature shrubs and bushes making it extremely private. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We loved the pool area with jacuzzi. The amenities block is centrally located and very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the fresh croissant and pain au chocolate for breakfast each morning. There was a sushi food van on a Monday night, which served delicious food. The site is literally across the road and a 10-15 min walk through a gorgeous pine forest to the beach, which is mostly deserted. We enjoyed a fabulous sunset there one evening. Everyone on the site was friendly and it was a good mix of nationalities. We feel very lucky to have found this place and would definitely recommend.
Very quiet campsite with regular pitches and mobile homes. All the amenities can be found on their website, so I'll stick to our key take-aways:- Quiet! Don't come here for (late night) entertainment. After 23:00h it's silence. Our mobile home was next to a small road, but there was hardly any traffic at night.- We mostly cooked our own dinners. If you want to go out for dinner you'll most likely go to Notre-Dame-De-Monts or Saint-Jean-De-Monts. There is bread service and some food options at the camp site, but they recommend to reserve this ahead of time.- The beach is great for kids. You first cross 400m of dune forest (on a good trail) before you reach the beach. This is also a nice area for horse riding, running and cycling. My only recommendation would be to reword the long list of rules (don't do this, don't do that) into a list of desired behavior. Sounds a lot more friendly and I'm sure the large majority of guests will behave the same.
A lot to like about this site. Very quiet. Great location, just a short walk through the forest to both the beach and Notre-Dame-de-Monts. Pity that the pitches are so small and access to those pitches so tight. Impossible to reverse caravan into most pitches, so expect to manually push it into position (staff will help) or use motor movers. And best not to plan too many day trips if you have Motorhome or Campervan.
The nicest, friendliest campsite we’ve been to. Extremely clean and facilities perfect. The beach is great with a short walk through the forest to get to it. The staff here couldn’t do enough for you.
Absolutely wonderful. Very friendly hosts who made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The site was an easy walk through a forest to the beachShowers and toilets were spotless and the site was very well maintained. We have a motorhome which is 6.2 metres long and had to make a couple of careful manouvres to get in and out of our spot.I think a vehicle longer than 7 metres would struggle. However , I did see some areas that could accomodate. Best call before you arrive.Would definitely go back there.
