CAMPING LA DAVIÈRE PLAGE

The site is in a great location, with a pleasant 10-15 minute walk along a quiet road through the pine forest to the beautiful beach. A short drive to the town that has two well-stocked supermarkets (Intermarché - expensive! Lidl - cheap!) The staff were friendly and helpful, speaking fluent English. Facilities were clean and functional, although were not lit at night. No toilet paper, but we have experienced this in France before and went prepared. No bar, shop or restaurant open at the time, but this was no issue for us. The pool was large, clean and reasonably warm. Access to pitches is very tight for caravans and larger motorhomes. A small amount of noise from the road, particularly for the pitches at the bottom of the site. We pretty much had the site to ourselves, being the last week in May. On the whole, it was fine for us!

Very cute camping. We stayed in a little cabin which was a perfect option for hikers or cyclist in need of a sleepover. The camp site has a convenient planning and has some charm to it.

Such a wonderful place! The pool was immaculate and the whole site very clean and well kept. Staff friendly and very helpful. Wonderful fresh bread at the shop and a fun cultural experience at the bar on karaoke night! Quiet, great for families and children of all ages. Will definitely come back in the future. Thank you!

What an amazing place to stay! We stayed in a Homeflower cabin, perfect for a family: easy to cook at home, decent living space, big terrace with shade, comfortable beds, and air con in the cabin too. Pool is great, couple of local places for good food just 5 mins walk, one with really fun evening entertainment. Location perfect, the beautiful beach is 10 min walk, magical at sunset, and there's loads of fun stuff locally: Explora Parc for Go Ape style activity, archery, trampoline, really well run, ferry to I'll d'Yeu for fun day cycling round the pretty island, Puy du Fou not far, as well as all the local little towns and beaches. You can rent bikes at the campsite too. I feel we discovered a real gem of a place to stay at La Daviere, a great level of accommodation with a really relaxing vibe and super friendly staff. We can't wait to come again!!!!

Nice campsite near the beach where dogs are allowed, also in low times dogs are allowed without lead on the beach, big time for our border collie. Sanitary could be upgraded and cleaned somewhat more often with this number of visitors.
