Latest reviews for CAMPING MUNICIPAL LA VALLÉE DE POUPET
Absolutely loved this campsite. Staff on campsite were so nice. Lovely river walk into a small scenic village. 1 bar / restaurant in village and food was fab and they were so friendly. Covered heated pool. Recreation area beside the campsite which had a restaurant and a small snack bar. Also kayaking and river swimming. 10mins drive to Puy Du Fou. Beautiful place.
Very pretty site located next to the river and park/ picnic area. Shady camping spots, great pool, showers etc. Not too large. Very easy 15 mins by car to Puy du Fou. Bit noisy with kids playing til late when we were there. Great site. Lovely shady pitches. Pretty location, easy drive to Puy du Fou. Nowhere to eat in evenings within walking distance though
The camping's great. Clean toilets, great place overall. Maybe a bit too close to the river, so perhaps a risk of flooding, but otherwise extremely nice. Most spots have electric power and wi-fi covers most of the area. The only real downside would be lack of oversight during the festival. I mean, there were a bunch of drunk people amusing themselves by jumping on people's tents (sometimes with said people in them) and just causing a stir after midnight, despite families with small children trying to sleep and all that. Don't get me wrong, I went for the concerts too, but I've read some angry reviews and it sort of falls in line with what I've witnessed. It's just that allowing unchecked drunken behaviour like that can easily lead to a lot of bad situations.I didn't give a low rating, as I honestly think the place is great, and the oversight thing can be solved. Perhaps even by installing surveillance cameras, since it's not that big a place
It's in a great location, the staff are very nice, and nice pitches. Only thing against, when there is a concert, which appeared to be most of the time we kept getting stopped by bouncers while returning to the campsite and asked to prove our bookings there.
A great site. Great for families and couples of all ages. Alongside a beautiful picnic area and River with canoeing as the main activity. Restaurant Bar close by. Pool great for kids and under cover. Not so good on hot days though well ventilated. Only complaint is the shower we're usually on the cool side of warm. Staff great and spoke English.
