CAMPING LA BOLÉE D'AIR

This place is ok, the toilet/wash areas are kept very clean and tidy. The evening entertainment is ok can be rather noisy at times. The beach is within walking distance, depending on what you are expecting from a holiday will depend on how much you like this site. If you are looking for a quiet site then definitely avoid here. Remember your toilet roll!

High hopes and good experiences from other camping sites by Vacansoleil totally dropped by visiting this place. We visited from 26.06 - 05.07-2019 and after only 3 days, we were ready to go home again, just dropping the rest of the vacation. I'm not complaining that it was hot and the cabins don't provide aircon. But having a pool area with several beds available and no shadow to find anywhere what so ever, is a bit over the top for my nordic pale skin.But hey, they also have an indoor pool. True, and if they bothered to clean it every night, it would have been nice. But it's 15-20 feet wide and most of the time, it was impossible to see the other side trough a diving mask. Not to mention the jacuzzi. Most of the time not work g and filthy as shi..The snackbar had a great daily menu, with different courses to sink into. But that menu wasn't available until 06.07.19, the day after we left.The pool bar failed to fill the fridge with cool beverages or the freezer with ice cream even though the temperature was 35° when we arrived.As if the camping site was open, but not yet ready to recieve guests. And that probably was the case. They were preparing for the great French invasion the 06.07.19.I so wish, I could find something nice to say about the site but no. I could never recommend this to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. Even he deserves better.

Lots of fun. Great entertainment and staff. Bit noisy and busy at times but great if you like a good time. Feels like a proper french campsite but don't come here in peak time if you want a quiet relaxing time.

Brilliant campsite, quite small and compact but sizable pitches for tents or caravans, pools aren't massive and can be quite busy, guard on duty but doesn't seem to get involved if people don't bide by the rules, entertainment is first class, does go on quite late though, kids clubs have daily activities though French is the only language with small amount of English, well situated for the beach only half mile away and very flat if cycling, been to various camping sites in Vendee but this is probably the best for what we needed
