Latest reviews for CAMPING LE BARUTEL
A nice place outside the Camping for a swim in the clear but cold water of River Ardèche. A small sandbeach invites for a sunbath too.
Super nice people! Would go again. Well suited for children. Excellent surounding. :)
We (a family with 2 teenagers) had a wonderful week at this small-scale campsite with very friendly, helpful and friendly French owners 🙂 Within walking distance (1-3 minutes) are a few small and quiet beaches on the Ardèche. And Aubenas is a 20-minute drive away with nice restaurants and a hypermarché.This campsite is located in the less busy part of the Ardèche. Excursions may therefore take a little more time (e.g. caves and canoeing an hour's drive away), but for us a quieter and less crowded environment is more important. In short: highly recommended for anyone who is not looking for a massive Dutch campsite.
The campsite is very pleasant, we came for a brief stay with friends and we had a great time. The pool was at the right temperature, the locations with access to picnic tables were great! The staff is very nice, and the restaurant on site is very good.(Small downside however on the number of showers in the common toilets, one or two were missing for my taste.)
Nice campsite, large pitches. Were received very friendly and were able to choose the place. Sanitary facility new and very clean. We immediately stocked up on the jam offered. The small village of Meyras above is well worth seeing.
