Latest reviews for CAMPING DE BELOS
The campsite is too close to the busy road to be quiet and does not have the relaxed atmosphere of a countryside campsite. No staff to manage the place. Toilets and showers are not often cleaned and are too few. Visitors can party loudly all night long. The business owners are just focused on trying to make more money with the so called restaurant (no qualified staff here either).
We wanted to go on this campingsite but were rudely treated at the reception as we had to wait a long time and had to watch how other guests came in and got served first. 0/10
The location is super
Very nice place. The food was disappointing in the local restaurant. For example, the pizza was burnt on the bottom. The camping pitches are okay. Most places have a lot of stones and twigs on the ground, which can be very annoying. But the campsite is really nicely decorated. With very beautiful flowers and colored pots. There are also many lizards and very beautiful butterflies if you look carefully. At the campsite itself you also have rabbits, chickens and a few goats. The location of the campsite is also really great! The campsite is surrounded by mountains with a very nice local village further away. The campsite itself is also very quiet in the evening. If you just leave the campsite you will arrive at the Ardèche with a small beach. The water itself only contains stones, most of which are very slippery. So water shoes are recommended. The toilets and showers are all in one building. I felt like the toilets were getting dirtier every day. The showers were nice and warm. Until they were also cold most of the time. There are a lot of nice walking routes in the area that really show you nature and the view. If you walk a short distance you will also come to a beautiful bridge where you can do a climbing course, but where you can also swim and jump off the rocks. Everything else is far away. This campsite is definitely worth camping and I would definitely come back here.
Well located family campsite.. very nice and exotic setting... Very pleasant swimming pool.. little entertainment and it's perfect when you're looking for a little peace and quiet.. lack of sanitary facilities compared to the size of the number of holidaymakers but everything went very well..
