Latest reviews for CAMPING VAL DROME SOLEIL
Location is beautiful, but the camping spots are small (a large tent would only just fit to the largest places) and it's all stone layered. Far from ideal with a tent. The terrain is very steep and there are only two toilet buildings located relatively close to eachother near the main building. The bar, which is open till 23:30, is very well heard all over the camping. Quite pricey compared to what you get.

Both buildings are very modern and nice. Even swing seats at the bar. The bar is open more or less always with lovely young French staff who friendly and polite. There is one large building of toilets and wash rooms are also very modern and kept very clean. They are shared like most naturist sites. Dutch owners so toilet paper etc in place.Lovely swimming pools with ample comfortable sun beds, as well as some ‘mattresses’ beds just outside. All very clean and modernThe restaurant timings and ordering I found a little bit confusing. Although when we did ordered all was fine. Sitting on the balcony lovey country side backdrop view.Only negative when ordering a snack just before Dutch game the older man at ( not young French) the bar could not understand me, and when food ordered made a big joke of walking around with it, I think he was just a bit of a plum. However the meals are lovely. With one themed night with a band. This was a buffet format very well done and so much work put into, if it on highly recommend.Order breads pastries for morning on paper order sheet, collect, pay cash at small shop. Most purchases are made on tab and settle at end of visit, except the morning bread/pastriesOwners very friendly and helpful also they clearly working very hard full family businessWe were on top tent camp pitch car had to go up step gravel track unload, then park in car park. So car may find it hard getting up slop when loaded. The views were lovely. However with toilets at the bottom of the hill walk down to toilets awkward as one wash block only, but it is excellent.Site feels quite luxurious. Things like games pitch’s spread about and other facilities I have not mentioned High recommend
Very nice family run naturist mountain camp site. Big pool with shaded seating around. Well stocked bar, with swings for seating.😎 Every day a menu and plenty choice of snacks.Showers, toilets and the like are modern and impeccably clean. From personal experience I can recommend the reiki massage, given by Sylvester. 40 € for a 90 min (announced, 120 min in reality) really good full body massage is a steal.Comes with the territory (Alpes) : not always easy to reach, sometimes smallish, camping pitches. Caravans are hooked up to the local jeep and parked for you. A great service. Probably, but therefore not less enjoyed, born out of necessity.Really big campers will have difficulty finding a suitable spot. Best call before taking the trip up the mountain.
Fabulous place. Great welcome, friendly bar, tasty and varied food and beautiful views. Clean washrooms with plenty of hot water and good Covid precautions. Bread available daily and croissants etc. to order. We camped for 6 days in Aug 2020 and had a wonderful time. The pool is lovely too.
A very rural naturist site with a very friendly welcome. A great pool and restaurant and lovely walks within the property. Not far from Crest , a buzzing little town.
