Latest reviews for LE MOULIN DE PRADELLE
The location is lovely and the only double room they rent out was clean and in it’s simple way charming. No soap or shampoo provided. Toilet leaking and toilet seat didn’t fit. Pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was served in the private kitchen, family style. I felt the price is on the high side for what you get.
Great location and spacious camp places next to the Roanne.Water and electricity are close. Dogs are allowed. This is the good part.Bad are the toilet and shower facilities. Not enough showers and toilets and only clean in the morning. You are expected to go there barefoot. Obviously, you don't want to do that if too dirty. The water is not always warm. And there is no place to do your laundry by hand. There is a severe bad smell every afternoon. So better bring scented candles, incense or something. Also, there is no place to bring your garbage at the camping. You have to go to Pradelle with it, too far with a heavy garbage bag, bottles and paper. And don't forget to bring your own toillet paper! Also, you have to hold it yourself, because you can not hang it somewhere. The swimmingpool is nice, unfortunately, bring your own chair. There is only one chair there. You are not welcomed in a friendly way. It is hard to have social interaction with the staff. They act ignorant all the time. Interaction is only on necessary base, never friendly. The "petit snack" restaurant, has good pizza. The way it is served is really unprofessional (e.g. fingers on top of your glass , no eye contact). Only the prices are professional. There is bread, only a couple of days a week and only in the afternoon. There is a small shop 10 minutes driving and a supermarket 40/45 minutes driving. This camping is too expensive with all these drawbacks.
great location
We spent 1 day on a pitch at the Moulin de Pradelle campsite. The setting is great, the site is quiet, the toilets are very clean and the best part: the swimming pool when it’s hot
We were 3 cycle tourists in distress, nothing open in St Nazaire le Désert, wind and 0° forecast for the night. The Moulin de Pradelles welcomed us warmly and even helped us out with a packet of pasta.A big thank-you.
